The 22-year-old was all smiles for the camera after going on a rampage on Monday afternoon, when he called his shot and took a swing at multiple items as he left a home in "complete ruin," officials said.
According to a spokesperson from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, shortly after 5 p.m. on Oct. 14, deputies were called to a residence on Morton Road, where there were reports of a breaking and entering incident involving Ssettumba, who had left the area by the time they arrived.
The caller advised that a man wearing a white shirt as an impromptu mask broke in and began destroying several things before leaving the area in a black Nissan sedan with tinted windows, no front license plate, and missing all of its hub caps.
Responding deputies were able to quickly track down the suspicious vehicle at Valero on Cambridge Street, where Ssettumba was detained.
Investigators say that further investigation found that the residence was ransacked, with the sofa separated into three pieces, all glass items shattered, including the walk-in shower, shelves had been ripped off the wall, and plants were scattered across the floor.
A safe was also emptied out during the incident.
The investigation determined that the homeowner was in the shower when Ssettumba broke into the residence with the black and yellow bat, when he warned that was there to break things
The homeowner was able to retreat and hide in a closet to make a call for help until Ssettumba left.
It was also noted that the two knew each other and the break-in may be connection to a previous larceny allegation.
When he was apprehended, investigators say that Ssettumba was found with cash stolen from the safe, as well as the bat.
Ssettumba was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, felony destruction of property, and larceny.
He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
